In the 3 short days that I have been working with Company P Recruiter, I have heard from her via text everyday. She continues to follow up with the hiring facility to get updates on the progress of my profile and has kept me informed every step of the way.
Yesterday, I was told that my profile with Hospital 1 has been forwarded to the department Manager and to be expecting a phone call within 24-48 hours. Being a first time travel nurse, I was not sure exactly what this meant, but I assumed it was a good sign. Up to this point, I had not yet been told this for any other location I have applied for.
Wanting to know what exactly being “forwarded to the department manager” means, I did a little research on https://blog.bluepipes.com/. (If you haven’t discovered this blog and want to know all things Travel Nursing, you’re welcome for being introduced to it!!!!) I found a short clip that states that profiles are pre-screened through staffing office representatives. If your profile is a match to the criteria set for the position, your profile will then be forwarded to the department manager who conducts the interviews.
I am now expecting a phone call and have all fingers and toes crossed that it comes through! It has been 16 days since I applied to my first travel nurse job…..
