It can be very difficult to get a good nights sleep when staying or living in an RV. One of the most common problems people complain about is the noise. The RV walls are thin and you literally hear everything going on outside your rig. We have experienced it all from road noice, passing trains, barking dogs, and rowdy neighbors. Finding a solution to drown out the noise became essential to a good night sleep inside our rig!
When looking into white noise machines, we found many different options to choose from including table top vs. wall plug in machines and wireless/ battery vs electrical. The most common types were table top style where you would need to be able to set it near you at night. It even has a night light feature! This night light, like I mentioned earlier, can be dimmed or brightened depending on your needs. You can change the color using the app or allow the app to pick the color depending on the white noise you choose. You don’t want a night light? That’s fine, just turn that feature off.
Once you have your white noise type, volume, timer, night light setting dialed in, save it to the app and the machine will remember it. Next time you want to turn your machine on or off, you can use the app or simply push the button on the machine!
Having a white noise maker has made our nights more comfortably and truly do nearly eliminate our awareness of the commotion going on around us. It is definitely an essential to RV living!
