With all 10 of the online tests passed, blood work and drug screen collected, background check submitted, and N95 mask fitted, I was referred to the usual new employment paperwork that needed to be completed. I9 forms, direct deposit information and the Company P contract all had to be filled out and signed. This whole thing never felt REAL until I had to set up my direct deposit!
I am at the point now that my entire “To-Do” list has been completed and I am back to waiting. Despite all these things being completed, I will not receive my all clear and first day orientation information until a few days before my contract start date.
In the mean time, plans for where to park my home during my contract have been made, a list of things I want to do while on location in a new city have been researched, and I am catching up on family time before I hit the road. It has been 4 weeks since I first applied for a travel nurse job.
