With only a week and a half left on Contract #1, I am at a point where I am needing to apply and prepare for my next adventure. I have started to look into locations of interest and discuss pay packages for each with Recruiter P.
I have decided to stick with the same Agency and Recruiter for this go around because of the success I had with them in the past.
With multiple profiles sent out to Hiring Facilities around the country, I am anxiously awaiting to hear back. I do feel a bit frantic and overwhelmed by my current responsibilities of Contract #1 but also with the logistics of finding a new contract and planning a move while living full time in my RV. One of the hardest things I have noticed about my Travel Nursing VS Full Time RV Living struggle is finding a location that has RV parks near the hospitals, ensuring availability prior to signing a contract, then getting the contracts, and lastly making reservations for the RV Park and hoping they still have availability. It gets a bit dicey!
I do plan on giving myself at least 2 weeks off between contracts to recoup and enjoy family before I get back to work. The ability to decide when and where I work is definitely a bonus.
