Travel Nurse abuse is a real problem but lets be honest, my time here is limited. The best thing about Travel Nursing is that an end date is pre-determined! If you are unhappy with your current situation, just smile and know that your frustration will be short lived!
So, with only 1 week left in Contract # 1, I am looking to my next adventure for some motivation and distraction! My plan was to take nearly a month off between contracts but when a highly desirable Destination Location became available, I decided to have my profile submitted by Recruiter P. These locations rarely come up and are the only reason I went on this crazy adventure to begin with! Can you imagine living and working in a location that is vacation worthy?
When I received a call from the Manager of Destination Location for an interview, I was beside myself! These locations are highly competitive and I did not expect to be called. 24 Hours later, I was awarded a contract and the planning for my next adventure had begun. The only down fall, I will be cutting my time off in half! A small compromise for living the Travel Nurse’s Chase For Destination Locations.
As I head into my last week of Contract #1, I start the “On boarding Process” for Contract #2!
Stay tuned! Location reveal coming soon and it may just surprise you!
7 Weeks down, 1 week to go in contract #1!
