After 4 days on the road, we desperately wanted to take a day off but because of our already tight schedule, we had to push on and finish this trek to Utah!
This morning, when reviewing our route in 37 degree weather, we decided to change our path to avoid Vegas and an additional 100 miles on the road. We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into except that my Chevy GPS also recommended this route. So, we hit the road headed North West through Navajo country with hopes that we made the right decision.
This route was beyond words and clearly an RVer’s paradise on the road! With epic scenic views and pull offs large enough for even the biggest rigs, we were able to stop and take time to enjoy the world around us! I can’t believe we almost didn’t get the opportunity to see this amazing landscape. It was a happy coincidence that we tried to shave some miles off the trip and ended up smack dab in the middle of what makes living on the road worth every minute!
And now, my home is parked in the most beautiful location for the next 3 months and I can’t imagine living any other way!
