Around every turn, there are more trails leading to places that seem out of this world.
With winter weather in our surrounding area this week, we stayed local and hiked the Red Reef Trail in the Red Cliff Conservation Area.
Only a few miles from our home-on-wheels, this canyon was hiding one of the greatest secrets I have ever seen.
It is impossible to describe the feeling you get when you round the corner and a view like this comes into place. The Red Cliffs are bright and coarse to the touch, the water is crystal clear and ice cold, and the air is clean and powerful in your lungs. I had no idea a place like this existed!
When I set out on this Travel Nurse adventure, I never imagined it would be quite this wonderful.
With only 3 weeks left in this contract, I only have 2 remaining weekends to explore this mystical land. The weather is changing and rain and snow seem to fill the forecast but we won’t let these last weekends go to waste! Rain, snow, or sunshine… more trails are waiting!
