After learning as much as I could during week 1 orientation, week 2 is the real test. The expectations of travelers are high and I am expected to work and function as a fully trained staff nurse by week 2. The more contracts I complete, the more comfortable I am becoming in my role as a Travel Nurse. I am getting in a rhythm here in Augusta, and I feel that my days are beginning to fly by!
This weekend, we decided to adventure out to one of the many local disc golf courses. We hadn’t played since week 1 in Asheville and was starting to feel deprived of our favorite family outing.

Even Watson had a blast running and exploring! He misses the freedom that he has on the farm and a day in the backwoods playing disc golf was the perfect place to set him free and let him run to his hearts content!

We are adjusting well to life here in Augusta and I am itching to get back behind my camera and explore more of the city!
Be sure to keep following along every Sunday as I capture my travel nurse adventures one week at a time!
