I am 1 month into my 4th Travel Nurse contract! Time has definitely started to speed up and this week, we cycled the historic Augusta Canal Trail. This trail is definitely a local favorite for walkers, runners, and mountain bikers alike.
I am always amazed by old buildings and structures. The craftsmanship that was required to create this canal in 1845 was a monumental feet that can still be appreciated today.
The water of the canal was smooth as glass and allowed for an absolutely beautiful reflection!
Although this trail was not a great option for a couple of “roadies” due to the uneven ground and dirt/gravel surfaces, we will definitely be back to explore a little more on foot!
