Following the events of last week and my Covid-19 exposure, I was hoping for brighter days. That didn’t happen.
To make a boring story short, I started to develop Covid-19 like symptoms that left me in isolation pending the results of a second nasal swab. Swab came back negative but my mystery virus left me feeling very unwell and unable to work.
So, this week I just did my best to rest and heal. After the fevers broke Wednesday night, I was having short bursts of energy before my daily coughing fits rendered me useless. During this time, I can say I successfully brought my succulents back to life! Well, two of the three are looking better.
You wanna know my secret to getting these beauts back from near death? Water. I know, right! Who knew. I mean, I was occasionally spritzing them but obviously that was not enough. I was being stingy and have learned my lesson.
So, now the question is, how often should I do a good soil soaking? The instructions that they come with said, “”mist” when soil is completely dry” , but now I am under the impression that they are lying to me. I guess I will repeat the soaking when the soil is completely dry and see how it goes.
In other exciting news from my week of quarantine, Chris installed a few RV upgrades for me this week. The first being a new bathroom faucet.
After more than a year in the Imagine, it was time to retire the squeaky plastic original faucet. The new one is so shiny, and pretty, and squeak free quiet!
My second RV upgrade, a new sound bar for the TV. Now, I can hear the movie even when the air conditioner comes on.
Yep, super exciting stuff going on here in The Imagine. These days, it’s all about the little things.
Any-who, I guess that is it for week 6. Thanks again for following along on this unpredictable Travel Nurse adventure. Stay tuned, next week we will be hitting our half-way mark in this contract!
