This week started out much like the last. My mystery virus continued and I was sent home pending another Covid nasal swab. The swab came back negative… again… and after talking with the manager about missing so much work, she agreed to allow me to work if I wear an N95 mask. It has been a long week working in a constant state of oxygen deprivation due to my illness and subsequent mask wearing.
With each day that passes, I am feeling better and better despite my horrendous cough. This weekend, I was feeling well enough to get out of the house and spend the day soaking up the Georgia heat.
The one thing that sets this contract apart is that we have family in this host city. We haven’t lived in the same city together since we were kids and it has been a unique opportunity to spend so much time together.
We are officially over half way on this contract with so much left to see and do! Keep following along on this crazy unpredictable travel nurse adventure!
