Being back in The Barn is a welcomed break from Travel Nursing. As much as I love hiking, exploring, and capturing new discoveries while on location, there is no better feeling than being home.
Our first week in The Barn is always full of “catching up”. 14 weeks away from home base leaves us with a lot of chores that have been neglected. But despite the added work, I wouldn’t trade this lifestyle for anything!
Spring is the best time to be home, the Texas wildflowers are just about to bloom and the hummingbirds and butterflies bring new life to the farm.
This weekend, the Rodeo was in town and we couldn’t miss the chance for a Friday night date and some honest Texas style fun.
Even though I do not own a camera lens meant for capturing speed (my landscape lenses are just not built for motion), I still had a blast capturing all the blurry action of the night!
Whats next? Discover The Imagined will be featuring a few adventures taken in the great state of Texas! With all my Travel Nurse adventures, I have found that so many locals have never discovered the amazing beauty of their own backyards. So, I am going to take my own advise and get out and explore my backyard! Don’t miss a week as I continue to capture my life between Travel Nurse contracts and all the discoveries I make along the way!
