It has now been 20 days since I signed my Reno contract…
I have completed all steps for my Nevada Nurses license, completed my blood work and drug screen, pretty much signed enough documents to of bought a house, Chris repaired the RV water pump and replaced the drawer that wouldn’t stay closed, license plates for the truck should be here any day now, and I have mapped out our route and stops for the journey west.
The Hospital required modules are still pending as I wait for my login info and I will need to be re-fingerprinted once I arrive in Nevada for a hospital required background check (they will not accept my license application fingerprinting).
With my check list of “stuff” nearing completion, I am now counting down the days to my next adventure and making the most of my time here at home.
The return of “in person” cycling events and 5k runs have been a welcome distraction from the On-Boarding process.
If you have never done a Mud Run/Obstacle Course 5k, I can tell you it’s a bit miserable. It was cold, raining, and smelled of cows! I will stick to cycling from now on, but, knowing that I will never do it again, I can honestly say that I had a good time.
14 days till we start our journey west and 20 days till the start of Contract #6!
