My part of the “0n-boarding” process if finally complete! The 30 Hospital modules came thru to my email yesterday afternoon and with us leaving for Reno tomorrow, I wanted to get these done asap! Some hospitals will give you 2 weeks after your start date to complete the required modules, but not this hospital! The deadline was my start date, only 9 days from now. I have spent the last 24 hours knocking these modules out one at a time so that I would not have to worry about them while traveling.
I have a lot to do here at the barn to prepare for our departure and I have realized how nonchalant I have become. With my past contracts, I have had The Imagine ready to roll and the barn in shutdown mode days before departure but it seems that the more contracts I take, the less hurried I have become.
I am also still trying to arrange alternative RV parks that are further out of the city than the one we are currently booked for. Talk about last minute!
Tomorrow we hit the road! A few stops along the way will surly make for an unforgettable start to my 6th travel nurse contract!
