With another difficult week here in Nevada, the weekend was a welcomed escape from the realities of nursing.
It was time to head back to Lake Tahoe and hunt for waterfalls!
Cascade falls was a unique sight and not your typical waterfall! It is formed by snowmelt that makes its way down the rocky edges of the mountain and flows into the beautiful Emerald Lake. More like a rockslide and less like a falls but still beautiful in its own way!
The view of Emerald Lake from the top, though, was the real treasure to be found!
Our journey then led us to Eagle Falls!
Just 1 mile from Cascade falls and less than a mile from the trailhead, this falls was a short hike with a big payoff!
Keep following along as I continue to explore new places and make the most of this Travel Nurse adventure!
