Another weekend has come and gone!
With this being one of our last weekends left for adventuring, we decided to change it up and take in a piece of history!
The Carson Canyon Railbike tour! The most famous Short Line Railway in the United States was our host on this 6 mile trek through the Carson Canyons.
Built in 1869 and used to haul gold and silver ore from the mines in Virginia city, this railway ran for 74 years.
Seeing wild horses in this area is common, but today we had an unexpected visitor that stole the show!
The bush plane landed in the valley just as we arrived at our first pitstop and being the airplane fanatic that I am, I was in awe!
It was an adventure worth remembering!
With only 3 weeks left here in Reno, we are making the most of the time we have left and planning for our grand adventure home!! Keep following along every Sunday to see where this crazy, amazing travel nursing adventure takes me next.
