With the end of contract #6 right around the corner and the Dixie Fire smoke engulfing this area, it has become nearly impossible to enjoy any time outside!
Even Watson’s behavior has changed and he fears going outside for any length of time. The rabbits and ground squirrels stay in hiding, even the birds are less active! The smoke and extremely poor air quality is affecting the lives of every living creature in this area. As evacuations start in cities only 70 miles from us, I am so ready to mark Reno off my contract list!
This weekend is my last Call Weekend and with 4 working days left next week, the trip home is become more and more exciting!
In 1 week, we begin our expedition home! With 5 stops and 4 National Parks mapped out, this 2 week journey will take us to new and exciting places full of adventure and wonder!
