No new rig this week…
The Rig is officially off the line and last we heard, it was awaiting pickup from the shipping yard. We are hoping for its arrival this week or next. Due to the holidays, we are not getting our hopes up of moving in prior to Christmas.
This week, as I started to feel better, Chris has started to feel worse. It is impossible to keep from spreading a bug when living in such a small space. Chris has always had a better immune system than me and very rarely gets sick but this bug must be a strong one! Even Watson game down with a stomach bug this week, so we have all had a low key, lazy last few days!
With what little energy we have, we take Watson on his daily greenway walk and last nights evening stroll was beautiful!
Crisp cool air, cup of hot chocolate, and an abandoned greenway was so peaceful!
With every contract, having a place to walk Watson has always been very important to us! With the last couple contracts, we have seriously struck gold! In Farmington, NM we had a beautiful greenway that ran along the river and in Reno, NV we could walk across the street to the National Forest trails. It is now something that we consider before taking a contract or picking an RV park!
Next week, I will be working yet another call day on Wednesday and doing inpatient on Christmas eve. A quick trip to Twin Creeks Farm to spend Christmas day with my family and maybe even the arrival of the new Rig- A lot going on during this midway week and I can’t wait to see where this adventure takes me!
