Week 16 was uneventful at work and I am grateful for a quiet work week!
With every contract, I have learned new aspects of Travel Nursing. I am figuring out what questions to ask in future interviews, how to better negotiate future contracts and to ensure everything is in writing, and even what limits and expectations I should set for myself to ensure that I have personal boundaries and goals.
I broke my first rule of travel nursing with this 26 week contract, but am now seeing the benefits of my hard work. This contract offered a completion bonus with nearly half being paid out on week 15 and the other half the last week of the contract! I assure you that I will never sign another 26 week contract again, but the fact that this one is rewarding me for my commitment, I am actually very grateful.
So, as I start to count down how many weeks I have left here in Tyler, I am enjoying every minute in The ReImagine. It is definitely “HOME” and was only made more special by those years spent in The Imagine! I have continued the organizing, rearranging, and make the space more functional, but I have also continued to think of ways to make it unique and personalized!
My next project includes wallpaper!
I am going to attempt to wallpaper the inside of the coat closet and bedroom closet!! I am super excited for this project. Now, whether or not the outcome looks like it does in my head, we will see. Either way, I am enjoying my tiny home on wheels.
Keep following along to see the Closet transformation and what this Travel Nursing adventure has in store for me next!
Keep moving forward. Friday was my last day so retirement becomes my new opportunity. I have no idea where it will lead.
Yay! Congratulations!! The possibilities are endless! Chase those dreams or maybe just warmer weather! 😂
