Another week has come and gone and I am seriously starting to feel burned out and over this contract! My two days at the inpatient department and my one call night this week almost ended this contract for me.
If I teach you nothing else about Travel Nursing, this is all you need to know- never take a contract for the money!
I still have 9 weeks left in this contract! After 2 years of Travel Nursing, this is the longest I have ever stayed in one place- including my home base and I am regretting my decision to take such a long contract! With plans to take the summer off to refocus, recoup, and restore… I am feeling that I will have to be very specific about future contracts!
My Bucket list contracts are all about LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!
- Wyoming (Spring, Summer)
- Rapid City, SD (summer)
- Southern Kentucky (summer)
- Southern Arizona (winter)
- Northern Arizona (Summer)
- Montana (Spring, Summer)
There are other places I would probably go, but the stipulations for the contract themselves would need to be very specific. Myrtle Beach, Savanah, North or Central Florida, New Mexico…
Keep Following along as I continue to distract myself from reality to daydream about future contract locations!! Where else should I consider for a Bucket List location and why??
What about Atlanta. Main campus is always looking but Holly may need someone later in n the year. It is very weird not working. I’m not doing well with it but it has only been a week.
Our puppy started puppy school last week so we have homework to do. It’s something to keep me occupied.
26 weeks is a long time but at least you will never have to do that again. Lesson learned.
