It has already been 1 month since we moved into The ReImagine!! As we continue to make modifications to improve daily living in a tiny space, there are some obstacles that we are having a hard time finding a solution for.
Things that you don’t think much about when living in a traditional home…
The Imagine had very plush, comfortable theater seating! I loved “my comfy spot” on my recliner but The ReImagine did not come with the same plush furniture! The fabric and color of the theater seating and couch is beautiful and makes the tiny space seem so much bigger, but they are insanely uncomfortable! After deciding to look into replacing with residential grade sofa and loveseat, you start to realize how tiny an RV truly is! After finding a set that we liked, we started to notice multiple issues that would prevent us from being able to replace our furniture with “NON-RV” specific replacements! Our door is only 28″ wide so bringing anything thru the doorway is impossible!! We concluded that in order to make it work, we would have to pull out one of our windows and use that opening in order get anything into the rig. The other issue, the max depth we can get is 36″ or else it will interfere with the slides and all the couches we looked at are at least 39″. Getting new furniture is on hold for now!
In other news, some much needed “warm” sunshine gave us the perfect morning disc golf adventure!
Watson loves disc golf days! He runs and plays, forging his own way through the course… With only 8 weeks left here in Tyler, I can definitely say that we will be beyond ready to get back to weekend adventures and travel!
Keep following along to see if we end up finding the perfect solution to my “comfy spot” crisis!
Try a weighted throw. They are comfortable and plush.
