With only a few weeks left here in Tyler, Spring break with my sister and her family was exactly what I needed!
And our freezing Friday morning trip to the Tyler Zoo was perfect!
If you want to know the best time to go to the zoo… it is at 915 on a Friday morning when it is 30 degrees outside! We had the entire place to ourselves. We were able to run around, play, and enjoy the cold loving animals without a care in the world!
Many of the animals got up close to the glass and we were able to enjoy their unique beauty so clearly!
The cats were the most playful! Chasing, climbing, and staring us down like we were breakfast!
And the Lions could be heard from the other side of the park.
It is so hard to believe that I am only 2 weeks out from the end of this contract. This is the longest I have ever stayed in one place and to be honest, I can not see myself doing another 26 weeks contract in the future, but having done it here in Tyler was definitely a blessing!
Travel nursing has changed my life… without it, memories like these wouldn’t exist. It has not been an easy road, but I wouldn’t change it for the world!
