Today was my first day of orientation, but before I get to that, I need to back up a few days!
Things always get a little crazy right before hitting the road. Once I got my “All Clear”, it was time to finish getting The ReImagine ready to roll and The Barn ready for hibernation! There is a whole list of things that I had to get done, and I spent my last few days at home checking those off one at a time.
Friday morning came so quick and it was time to finally begin our journey. By Friday afternoon, we had made it to this charming little campground in Poteau, Oklahoma! Nestled in a valley and along a river, it was the PERFECT place to take a break from the road for the remainder of the day.
We played a round of disc golf at the RV parks short 18 hole course and then settled in for an evening of watching the resident horses and buffalo roam.
Saturday morning, we got back on the road and made it to our new host city. We got settled and called it a night with the plans to explore and get a few things done Sunday.
I have always arrived at my host city on Saturdays! This gives me Sunday to map a route to work, go grocery shopping and food prep lunches for the week, find a laundromat and do any laundry that needs to be done, as well as, find places to walk Watson and of course, find a local disc golf course and get a little exercise after spending the last few days in the truck. That is exactly how Sunday went. Next, it was time to get ready for Monday!
