Lets just get this out first. I did NOT come home with all my discs. Very sad! My favorite disc took a swim on Hole 1! Yes, I didn’t make it past the first hole/ past the first tee pad before I lost a disc.
This is the last photo of my dearly beloved Valkyrie Driver. This Tee Pad though, absolutely beautiful and a proper way to give a sendoff!
After my hole 1 mishap, I had a blast! This course was challenging and beautiful but also fair to an advanced beginner like myself. The wind was challenging, but the weather was otherwise PERFECT! Fall has definitely arrived!
The strong cross winds made my 70 ft birdie throw-in that much more EPIC!!
It is sometimes hard to gauge distance from photos so let me show you this stretch from another angle!
We walked 5.15 miles around this beautiful property and spent over 4 hours slinging discs.
It cost us a fortune in lost discs, course fees, and Watson’s ”walking fee” but I still enjoyed every minute! It was definitely a once in a lifetime course and day.
And by the way, I wasn’t the only one to loose a disc to this disc eating course! Chris lost his driver on hole 18. RIP Photon.
Tomorrow is another short travel day! We will be making it just east of Saint Louis, MO for a quick layover before we head to Kentucky for a few days! Keep following along as I document all my adventures along the way!
