This weekend, my initial plans were to celebrate my birthday at Sea Rim State Park. I ended up canceling because of all the closures in and around the park. Not only was the near by civil war monument closed unexpectantly but so was the boardwalk hiking trails and the beach connected to the state Park!
With this secluded State park being practically closed other than “camping”, I decided to try another location and change up my birthday traditions. Instead of heading to the beach, I will be heading to Central Texas instead.
Days spent hiking and walking amongst the dinosaurs is in my near future!
