After nearly 2 weeks on the road, we have finally arrived at our new host city for the month of November. If your not familiar with my story, heres the cliff notes version:
I am a Registered Nurse who transitioned to Travel Nursing back in 2019. At that time, my husband Chris, pup Watson, and I sold our house and moved into an RV full time so that we could live and travel full time while I worked at different hospitals around the country. After a couple years of travel nursing, I was ready for something different. In 2022, I stepped away from nursing all together, but I wasn’t ready to give up on the traveling lifestyle! I decided to go back to school to become an RV technician and build a small business that could travel with me. I became The RV Tank Medic and never looked back! Now, I work with RV resorts around the country providing tank cleaning services to their guests as well as offering “Tank Talk” events to help educate RV owners on how to care and maintain their RV plumbing systems. I chose central Arizona for its proximity to hiking and adventure, but my small business made it happen!
We have been busy our first week here! Between scheduling tank cleanings and exploring our new host city, we haven’t had much down time this week.
One thing we are loving is that right outside our back window, we can see the mountain peaks and a desert landscape full of Saguaro Cactuses!! We have seen cotton tail rabbits, native wild donkeys, roadrunners… It is so different from our usual scenery and is absolutely beautiful!
Yesterday, we went to Prescott, AZ to check out a very popular disc golf course notorious for its epic scenery. The reviews didn’t lie!! The course is more like a hike with baskets randomly positioned on rocks or hillsides, but I would never complain with views like this!
We did have plans to do some hiking in Sedona this past weekend, but the city is requiring you to park in downtown public parking Friday-Sunday and shuttle to the trailheads. With Watson always in tow, we will have to plan to visit Sedona during the week so that we do not have to take the shuttle everywhere we want to go.
So, unfortunately, no photography or hiking stories to share this week… just an epic round of disc golf.
Keep following along as discover new adventures in the central Arizona area while also growing my small business! This is one crazy amazing RV life!
